Toronto Maple Leafs have announced their latest revolving door of brass. Young sharp shooter John Chayka will head up the brain trust of the Maple Leafs.
President of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, Keith Pelley made several phone calls before appointing Chayka to what many call the most cherished management position in hockey.
Mr Chayka did express some concern that his new employer was unable to hook up Rogers cable in his new residence as Chayka’s work resume did not meet the criteria required to leave a cable box behind.
Matts Sundin, legendary Maple Leafs Captain agreed to also join the management team. He unfortunately used up his admin budget in the first week paying for all of the variations of his job title that was supposed to be printed on his new office door. He has decided to keep it simple and has asked all comers to simply refer to him as “dude”. Part of his contract does require that he accompany Mr Chayka to any and all bars so that there will be someone to vouch for Mr Chayka being of legal age when there is alcohol being served.
